Triceps Anatomy

 
Triceps is the muscle on the back of the arm. 
Three heads make up the structure of  triceps, that is the reason 
of its name:
                       A) Long head, B) Lateral head and C) Medial head

It is responsible for the extension of forearms, therefore all tricep 
workouts with  weight  when performing  this extension movement, 
will be very useful for this muscle training.

Since the movement produced by triceps goes according to gravity, 
muscle is generally underdeveloped in people who do not exercise. 
Taking into consideration that triceps is the muscle that gives more 
volume to arms, training is essential to get well developed arms.

Execution
   Lie on bench. Grasp a dumbbell with right hand and raise your arm until
   it is fully extended. 
   With left hand hold right arm to keep it still.
   Lower dumbbell perpendicular to the body.
   Raise forearm back to original position.
   After finishing with right arm, repeat the same with left arm.

Choice
    To keep arm still, the opposite hand can hold either biceps as shown 
    in the image or triceps.

Keys
   Movement is performed by forearms. Do not move arms. 
   Since the dumbbell is close to face, be careful on using a weight you can
   manage easily.
                                           
Muscles trained:  Entire Tricep, the three heads of the muscle.

Tricep Workouts Routine:  4 sets, 8 reps each set with maximum weight.

Execution                     
    Lie on bench.
    Grasp a dumbbell with right hand.
    Place left hand as a support at right elbow, as shown in the image.
    Lower dumbbell until arm is fully flexed.
    Then raise the weight to original position.
    When reps for right arm are over, go on with left arm.
                                            
Choice
     French Press (previously described) is a variation of this exercise.  

Keys
    Supporting hand is important to keep arm still throughout the exercise.

    Place hands behind body, on a bench as shown in the image.
    Lower body by bending arms.
    Then extend arms to go back to original position.

Choice
    Exercise can be done with a dumbbell or an iron disc on your legs, 
    to increase the intensity of the exercise (only for advanced). 

Keys
    Lower body as much as possible.

    Lie on bench.
    Grasp a barbell with shoulder width overhand grip, arms fully extended 
    as shown in the image.
    Lower the weight  by bending arms backwards.
    Then extend arms to lift weight to original position.

Choice
    Exercise can be done with a pair of dumbbells instead of barbell 
    as you can see in the next exercise.

Keys
     Movement is performed by forearms. Do not move arms.

    Sit on bench.
    Grasp a dumbbell with both hands. Place it behind head.
    Raise dumbbell until arms are fully extended overhead.
    Lower weight to original position.

    It can also be performed with barbell instead of dumbbell, as previously
